Is it ok to have RSVP cards for guests to reply to an email address rather than expecting them to post the card back to us?

For a very formal wedding, steer clear of using email. But for a less formal wedding you could use this method, just make sure that you know who has email and who does not. Perhaps to be on the safe side, give your guests the option to respond to you, using both methods, email and posting.
