Our Wedding Day

A lovely farm wedding on the banks of the Vaal River held in early Autumn. The theme was very natural with brown, dark green and burnt orange being the major colours. We also incorporated frames and twigs into the theme, using old picture frames as displays on branch / wooden stands. The gifts to the guests were picture frames and chilli bites in little ceramic flowerpots (which brought the theme of picture frames & twigs back).

Advice to Future Brides

Draw up a comprehensive budget for everything. Stick to it! Make sure you are aware of all charges from all relevant parties (and have it all on paper). But mostly: Enjoy the day itself! Don’t let small things ruin it for you.
