Our Wedding Day

The day before our wedding we were at the Reception Venue together with the best man (my brother) and his fiance and we decorated the reception area.  We had Chandeliers and Candelabras draped with Crystals and Pearls.  The roof Drapes were filled with fairy lights and our flower arrangements were done in antique teapots.  Outside we had lanterns and glass balls with roses hanging from the veranda.

As I arrived at the church, my father was waiting outside with teary eyes to walk his little girl down the aisle.  It was such a beautiful day we shared with our friends, co workers and family.  For both the ceremony and pre- drinks we had a string trio playing.   We walked in on So happy together from The Turtles and our first dance was on When I look at you from Miley Cyrus.

We had a live one man band at the reception and we danced the night away. The food was amazing and we can’t decide whether the funniest part was when the majority of guests joined in for the Greek Zorba or when a family friend fell to the ground jumping for the garter!  It was absolutely an unforgettable day.

Advice to Future Brides

This is the one day you have been dreaming of since you were a little girl, so make your dream a reality in the choices you make for this special day.  Enjoy your day to the fullest, take everything in, as it passes by so quickly.  If you enjoy your day – your guests will enjoy it too. Be a part of the celebrations, don’t be a bystander.  Surround yourself with people you care for and who care for you, as they will make the day extra special.
