Our Wedding Day

‚Ä'Once in a while, in the middle of an ordinary life, love gives us a fairytale‚Ä'‚Ä -those words simply put our special day in a nutshell.

My theme being a fantasy fairytale wedding and my only colours being white and silver flowed magically all the way from the chapel right through to the reception hall. Frosted silver décor sparkled as every light and candle captured our every movement, and guests indulged themselves in our happiness. As my flower girls, dressed as silver angels, graced the chapel with their presence, my fairytale wedding became a reality and butterflies filled my stomach with excitement! After our beautiful vows and declaration as husband and wife, we floated elated out the chapel to bubbles and white rose petals from the guests.

Our romantic sunset photos were taken on the Sardinia Bay Beach. On our arrival at the reception, we were greeted with cocktails and entrees to wet our appetites for the delightful evening ahead. Everything was perfect, from my stunning handmade Swarovski crystal bouquet to the exquisite hand beaded serviette rings, given as favours to the ladies and white chocolate golf ball favours to the men.. A touching moment, during our wedding reception, was when I surprised my husband by singing him a special song.

Advice to Future Brides

• Give yourself sufficient time in planning your wedding, it will be less stressful¬†(I had a year to plan).
• Remember it is¬†YOUR special day, so plan detail the way YOU want it to be!
• Try your¬†best not to stress too much, no-one notices the petty mistakes.
• Have fun, treasure and enjoy every moment as it¬†passes by¬†so quickly.
