Cakes by Henno has been supplying wedding cakes for the past seven years. Each cake we produce is a tribute to the people for whom it is made, but it also embodies our quality, our service, and our love for our craft. We take great pride in the fact that our business has grown purely through personal recommendations and word-of-mouth.

Our cakes are individually unique but there are recipes, special touches, and house techniques that define our style and our philosophy. At Cakes by Henno we specialise in chocolate wedding cakes – the most popular being our Chocolate Mocha, a dense chocolate cake sandwiching chocolate ganache and mocha buttercream. It’s made such an impact that we’ve often had brides returning for repeat orders after their weddings! A variety of other flavours are available too including Carrot, the now-popular Red Velvet, and Vanilla with various fillings, and we also offer kiddies cakes, standard cakes and cupcakes.

Most of our cakes are decorated with fresh roses, and we’ve recently introduced a range with fondant icing, about which we’re very excited. Our focus is on weddings, one of the greatest of all celebrations. It is a source of immense fulfilment and joy for us to contribute to that perfect and memorable day in someone’s life. We believe that a wedding cake is one of the central and most important features of a wedding. We encourage the bride to be part of the cake creation process, and we strive for a happy union between her ideas and our expertise. Great care is taken to get the finest ingredients and flowers.

Our home kitchen is based in Bloubergrant. Consultations are by appointment only.
