We love this DIY giant string heart from Green Wedding Shoes. It is such a beautiful shabby chic piece for your reception décor and you can take it home as a keepsake of your special day. Draw a faint outline of a heart on a piece of wood, hammer in the nails evenly spaced along the outline of the heart; attach the string to one of the nails, then start stringing. There is no right or wrong way to string and what’s best, if you don’t like the final result, you can easily start over, without any wastage.
